[Ellie stuffs her cheeks so fast, it's hard to say whether she actually tastes it. She's not as painfully thin as the last time she came back from their world, but she's still a growing girl.]

[Ellie can feel it. She pauses, then leans down, totally distracted.]

[She grins and brings her leg up so she can pull her pant leg up. There's a shin guard there.]

[And then she grabs a few and tosses them in her mouth with a grin. She's full of shit and she knows it.]

[Deadpan, before Ellie grins and helps herself to more.]

[Enter the portion of the date where Ellie slumps quietly against the edge of the table, slowly but steadily eating her way through a burger bigger than she is. About halfway through she slows down, but resolutely keeps going.

Soon, she looks ready for a nap. She probably shouldn't have eaten all of that at once.]

I didn't remember being here at all, but I think a part of me still missed it, you know? And then I showed up here and everything just came jumping at my face again.

[Riley does better with pacing herself since she's used to actually being able to have food, getting food, eating her fill of food. She does see that stuff going on with Ellie though and makes a note to portion control her.

Mostly so she doesn't get sick in the future while her stomach grows again.]
