[She smirks because she knows that she's got the advantage here. If Ellie wants to see cool tricks then she has to let her have her way.

[She crosses her arms, making a big show of waiting.]

[She laughs then runs and kicks from one wall to the other until she's up on the roof. There she pokes her head over with a grin before holding out a rope.]

You wanna climb this or get a plant ride up?

You're gonna make me climb a rope when you can just fly me up there?

[Ellie snorts, but lifts a hand. It takes a moment, but the familiar feeling is right there under the surface, and her powers rise up inside her, roaring back to life. It's like riding a bike, she suspects, even if she's never learned how.

The vines grow from the wooden railing of the building, trailing down to reach and move her with surprising speed towards the top floor, then the roof.]

[Actually she just wanted to push her into using those plant powers. Ellie doesn't realize it but she's hot as hell to her girlfriend when she does. So it's with great pleasure that she watches her use them to bring herself up onto the roof.

[Ellie rides the momentum over the side, barely stumbles as she sticks the landing, and reaches up to high-five Riley, then hip-bump her.]

[Giving her a look, she thinks about that seriously. A good superhero name huh? Okay, she's got a good one but she has to do the uber stupid one first.]

[Riley, you changed the subject to your ass. Ellie gives her the smarmiest grin she can manage to cover how much she wants to burst out laughing.]

C'mon, normal awesome Riley. Let's get to your place.

[She bursts out laughing herself, not bothering to hide it. Then she waves her hand and takes off running.]

Come on! This way!

[Ellie takes off after her, better able to keep pace now. Riley's fast, maybe even as fast as Joel, and she doesn't tire as quickly as he does.

So when Riley stops, Ellie flat-out bowls into her from behind, giving a muffled curse rubbing at her nose.]

Shit girl! Let's be careful with the almost pushing me off the roof business.

[She's laughing though, a sure sign she's not as pissed as the words suggest. Looking over the edge, she focuses on something and a ladder shows up to go from one window to the roof. With a grin, she climbs over the edge and down inside where there's a very nice and cozy apartment that is clearly only accessible through that window. Probably other locations too but those are carefully hidden away for now.

A perfect hideaway. Just the sort of thing Riley needs.

Going over to the bed, she flops down and pulls out a bag of candy. Apparently that addiction is still out in full force.] Like it?

[It takes a bit of doing, but Ellie's climbing skills are still up to snuff, and there's no danger of falling with the vines to catch her. She walks across, quick as a cat, arms out, and drops in through the hole. Not quite as graceful as Riley, but it'll do.]

Some security measures. Are you on the run, or what?

[It's teasing. They've always loved their secret places, creating little clubhouses they didn't have to share, that nobody else could find. Ellie crawls overtop her on the bed, then directly straddles her stomach. It's more to be annoying than cute.]

It's fantastic. How long have you had it?

[Riley just laughs at the first question right before she blushes a second when she straddles her. It should just be annoying but...

Well, to put it mildly, Riley is getting way more out of this than Ellie might thing.

So with a casual move, she gets her girlfriend to flop on the bed next to her instead. Way better. Less tempting to try to...

I've had this place about a month now. Just got all the ways blocked off except for through the window though. That way it's easier to keep people I don't trust from getting in.
